Birthday Party #9

Kari just wrapped up a great weekend with a birthday sleepover.  In a moment of weakness I told Kari she could invite six friends over for pizza, games, movies in the basement, and eventually sleep. We kept to the theme of giving to others, and this year Kari chose food to donate to a pantry housed within a high school on the other side of town.  Her friends were, as always, so very generous.

Next, the girls got to decorate personalized pillowcases.  The girls autographed each other's pillowcases, dedicated their love to all things dolphins, unicorns, and Purdue football.

At Kari's 7th birthday party we had a photo frame that was a huge hit.  We had some repeat offenders enjoying hamming it up behind with the frame again!

We also made homemade lip gloss with very limited success.  Pinterest can't be a winner all the time. We'll chalk that part of the evening up to a #fail, and thus no pictures.  The evening wrapped up with pizza, the traditional star cake, popcorn, and watching Dolphin Tale 2.

Sunday morning Kevin made a hearty breakfast of pancakes, hashbrowns, sausage, and bacon. Everyone particularly enjoyed drinking their juice out of the crystal goblets.
